| LETTERS Re: Calgary condo buyers warned, Rant & Rave (June 11 issue) In the column by Barry W. Cook, he calls the Calgary Herald's Homes section an "advertising supplement." In fact, the Saturday Homes section is an editorial product, written and edited by journalists who work in the Herald's newsroom. Advertisers do not pay for stories to appear in the section, and selection of stories is made by editorial staff, not advertising staff. The Homes section provides readers with news and feature stories, keeping them on top of Calgary's quickly changing home building market and industry.
