LETTERSI want to take this opportunity to thank you for the great coverage FFWD has been giving the individual shows that are being presented here at One Yellow Rabbit's High Performance Rodeo. But I would also like to take this opportunity to rectify a possible misunderstanding.
In your current issue, for instance, you give generous coverage to two of the most interesting and dynamic performances in Calgary this week: Carbone 14 and Art Ranch, and the cover shot of C-14's show is incredible. But your readers might be interested to know that these two shows, along with the two you featured last week, and a large number of other performances coming up, are all part of Western Canada's biggest and most important festival of new and innovative performance. They are all being presented in Calgary as part of the High Performance Rodeo.
I believe it is important for Calgarians to know, and be proud of, the fact that the little festival they have been supporting for the past 11 years has developed into the three-week international smorgasbord it is today.
